That is why I designed this hair treatment combining scientific-grade botanical ingredients that are ultra-potent and high-performance. The studies carried out on each of them carefully selected aim to improve the scalp as an extension of our skin, thus working the entire hair cycle.
Corosolic acid, the new most sought-after active ingredient
In this hair treatment, the star ingredient is corosolic acid. Extracted from the leaves of Eribotrya Japonica (loquat), it helps promote hair growth, but furthermore, various studies show that corosolic acid:
- Blocks the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the hormone that causes hair loss.
- Reduces the production of factors that trigger hair loss, such as FGF-5 (a protein involved in the hair follicle cycle).
- Increases the number of hair cells.
- Increases the production of substances that stimulate hair growth, such as FGF-7 (a protein that plays a role in hair growth), VEGF (a protein that stimulates the growth of new blood vessels), and BMP-2 (regulates hair follicle growth and contributes to hair thickness and strength).
