We have compiled the most frequent questions you ask us about our eye contour and we provide you with answers.
Why is it called "rapid"? Is it like a "flash" treatment?
In addition to containing the typical ingredients associated with an eye contour, I use a blend of sugars derived from carob gum, which forms a pleasant film that tightens the skin without the crumbling or piling effects typical of other mechanical tensors. And that is why, after applying the product, you will notice that the fine lines around the eyes appear less evident and that the entire area looks fresher.
It looks more like a gel than a cream. Why?
It is actually a light cream whose base is a combination of water emulsified with oil. I had to use a small amount of oil because it contains a large amount of natural peptides and that's where its beautiful light and silky texture comes from. These peptides do not work when mixed with high concentrations of oils, so the result is similar to a "gel" instead of a dense cream.
What are the benefits of its combination of natural peptides and organic antioxidants?
This combination helps reduce dark circles by activating microcirculation and strengthens capillaries to reduce puffiness. However, the most important action it performs is to protect the collagen and elastin matrix of this delicate area. From the age of 25, collagen and elastin deposits begin to degrade more quickly, which is why a good eye contour should never be missing from your daily facial routine!
I see "wheat" on the ingredient list. Is it gluten-free?
No, the product may contain traces of gluten.
What are rice peptides and how do they work?
Rice is one of my favorite ingredients, as it works wonders on sensitive skin and is also a source of very beneficial ingredients, such as ferulic acid (antioxidant) and gamma oryzanol (a natural sunscreen that also protects skin lipids from oxidation). It is a very effective ingredient. I also like to use traditional ingredients because, although they may not be as fashionable, they have been studied for decades, which means they are safe to use. In this particular formula, I have included rice to combat dark circles and typical puffiness.
I have read that eye cream is unnecessary and that your usual facial cream has the same effect. Is that true?
I believe we all have different opinions, and that's okay. I am more of the opinion that this delicate area (where the skin is 5 to 10 times thinner than the rest of the face) has specific needs and truly benefits from a product specifically designed for it.
Why does it contain panthenol? Isn't it just for rashes and burns?
Also called provitamin B5, panthenol is a wonderful humectant because it attracts and retains water in the skin and, therefore, is also very soothing. Because the skin around the eyes is very thin and delicate, it experiences greater water loss, making panthenol the perfect ingredient to treat this problem.
