Yes, this is not liquid! Its viscosity is obtained through a preparation technique that I personally designed for its production; I prepare each batch by hand, avoiding the use of mechanical mixers. To achieve the degree of viscosity that makes this product so effective, the ingredients must be mixed gently, something that can only be achieved manually.
Hyaluronic acid is water-soluble, so how does it combine with an oil?
It is encapsulated with lecithin, which comes from plant tissues. Lecithin has the ability to attract both water and oil, and thanks to this, the small spheres of hyaluronic acid can provide constant hydration to this often-neglected part of our face.
I always have to constantly apply my other lip balms. But with this one, I only need to apply it twice a day!
This is due to the dosage and purity of the ingredients I use in the product. For example, in the case of cupuaçu butter, if you apply it in large quantities, you will mostly notice comfort, but it does not mean that it will leave your lips with constant hydration. Lips are different from the rest of the skin as they do not have protective oils, hairs, or sweat glands that keep them soft and regulate heat. That is why if we neglect them, they can dry out faster and crack more frequently.

No, but the idea behind Twelve has always been to formulate unique products that provide amazing benefits to the skin, without having to follow current trends or be constrained by economic benefits. Some of my fellow formulators think it's crazy to use the amount of functional substances I use in each product, but I wouldn't know how to do it any other way! My mission is to keep skin healthier for longer, and for that, you have to be generous with the ingredients and truly give it your all with the products you are formulating.
My lips crack very easily and nothing seems to work. Will it help me?
I recommend trying it before committing to buying the product itself (although the 10ml size lasts a very long time!). Each of our partner stores has testers available. From the first application, lips usually feel softer and more comfortable. I always recommend applying it four times a day for the first 48 hours and then only when necessary.
Is it unisex?
Yes, like the entire collection. I formulate my products to be as inclusive as possible.
