What is the difference between the Ideal Moisture Level Serum and the Essential Bio Technological Moisturiser?
The serum is a water-based formula that contains hyaluronic acid, moisturizing molecules, and a blend of antioxidants. In contrast, the Essential Bio Technological Moisturiser is a moisturizing cream that contains water and key oils for the superficial layers of the epidermis. It provides the skin with incredible hydration and the right amount for daily protection.
Why does it contain sunflower unsaponifiable oil?
Dry skin is characterized by a lack of essential lipids in the skin. This highly beneficial fraction of sunflower oil, which also happens to be the most precious, is extremely effective and full of natural vitality. It restores key lipids to the skin, which in turn help strengthen the skin's protective barrier.
So, being a rich cream, is it only suitable for mature skin?
I'm not a fan of classifying products or active ingredients by age. I believe it's better to choose products based on our skin's needs and the goal we want to achieve. All my formulas are highly compatible with the skin's natural composition and are designed to keep it healthy, flexible, radiant, and functioning optimally. This is actually why many people with different skin types find the right product for them within the TWELVE collection.
What is the pH of this product?
It is between 4.90 and 5.06. This is because it is the ideal pH level for the enzymes responsible for ceramide production (essential lipids needed for a healthy skin barrier).
What is Imperatoria extract and why does it have such a grand name?
Traditionally, it was used by the ancient Greeks and Romans and also gained much fame during the Middle Ages. It has multiple incredible properties, but the one that interests me most is its re-epithelialization capacity (wound healing), which helps strengthen the skin barrier and make it much more resistant.
Does it have SPF?
No, and that's why you should continue to apply your preferred SPF product. However, it does have a high level of antioxidants that improve the skin's natural ability to protect itself against sun exposure and also help repair sun damage.
